- NEWPORT COASTER 9 DAY TIME CHARTER RFP Requires one US or foreign flag self sustaining vessel with a minimum capacity of 60 TEUs, a maximum laden draft of 10 meters, and a maximum LOA of 150 meters, for a 9-day time charter with the option to cancel after 6 days with no notice to support the movement of approximately 150-200 TEUs between the port of Newport, UK and the Newport anchorage. The place/range of delivery/redelivery is Newport, UK, pierside. The vessel will lighter at anchor and must have a minimum of THREE Yokohama fenders and TWO 20’ spreader bars. Laydays commence/cancel 14 May 2010 0600-1000. In accordance with the Cargo Preference Act of 1904 and the VISA program, preference will be given to U.S. Flag vessels and priority will be given to VISA participants.
