- RECOVERY ACT - The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of Science Policy Analysis (OSPA) is conducting a market survey to determine the availability and technical capability of qualified small businesses, including 8(a) small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, woman-owned small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or HUBZone small businesses capable of providing (OSPA): Study the impact of NIH funding in an incremental manner over the base budget investment. This type of study will inform policy on the benefits of NIH research and more specifically of impact of ARRA, describing what could have not be acheived without this extraordinary support. The translation of research into tangible economic and social benefits occurs largely at the regional level. Therefore, the measurements of the innovation process and research impacts on economies need to be captured at the regional level. However, attempts to assess the economic and social impact of NIH or other research funding, has not typically been focused on assessing immediate regional impacts, and ultimately the overal economic and social benefits of basic research for the nation. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY, NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE OR SOLICITATION. Site related equipment sold GENERAL INFORMATION This Sources Sought Notice is for information and planning purposes only and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this Notice. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Notice. Respondents will not be notified of the results of this evaluation.
