Description
DUE TO THE REQUIREMENTS THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO NEGOTIATE SOLELY WITH BAY ASSOCIATES (FUEL SYTEMS SPECIALISTS). THIS COMPANY IS THE ONE THAT INSTALLED THE SYSTEM AT THE FACILITY. The Contractor shall have factory trained personnel, with necessary expertise to evaluate, recommend, and perform all technical support and repair the bulk site and wheel site. Work shall be performed in accordance with the best commercial practices without unnecessary delays or interference with Government missions or functions. The Contractor shall have the expertise and resources to repair parts to conduct the repairs within (3) days. REPLACEMENT PARTS/MATERIALS: Replacement parts shall be supplied by the Contractor. WARRANTY OF PARTS/MATERIALS: Parts/materials replaced under this contract will be subject to the standard commercial warranty applied to those parts or materials. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE SERVICE FOR THE FOLLOWING GOVERNMENT EQUIPMENT: SERVICE SHALL INCLUDE: 1. ONE (1) VISIT (TO INCLUDE 3 DAYS OF ENGINEER WORK) 2. TROUBLESHOOT THE MOGUS FILL SYSTEM. 3. REPAIR THE MOGAS TANK FILL VALVES AT THE WHEELED AND TRACKED FACILITIES. 4. REPAIR PNEUMATIC/HYDRAULIC CONTROL VALVES TO FULL OPERATION CONDITION. 5. CHECK OPERATION AND ADJUST AS NEEDED. 6. REPORT PROBLEMS. 7. PROVIDE EVALUTATION, RECOMMENDATION, REPAIRS, AND CERTIFY ACCURATE AND PROPER OPERATION FOR THE MOGUL FUEL SYSTEMS AND ITS VALVES. COST BREAKOUT: SCHEDULED VISIT: HOTEL, MEALS, AIRFARE, RENTAL CAR LABOR AND PARTS This solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-40 This solicitation is 100% small business set aside and is restricted to small businesses only in accordance with FAR 19.502-2(b).
