- The Lebanon VA Medical Center (LVAMC) located at 1700 S. Lincoln Ave, Lebanon PA 17042 is seeking Design-Build sources for an upcoming project titled "Northeast CPAC Impact Roadway Modifications". The intent is to set the requirement aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The Government would welcome teaming arrangements; however, the design team must have PENNDOT experience. DESCRIPTION: The focus of the project is to modify the roadways to install turning lanes per our PENNDOT approved traffic study. Included in the designs, the design-build firm shall develop the necessary working drawings; contract specifications; phasing plans; final cost estimates for full and complete construction of the project. The design team shall also ensure that the completed designs are in full compliance with all applicable codes and VA design guidelines. REQUIRED: Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business design-build firm. Contractor must have previous experience working with PENNDOT on similar projects in accordance with the description of this upcoming project. If a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business teams with another business then the design team must have Penndot experience. Please provide this information in the capability statement. ADMINISTRATIVE: All interested parties should submit a capability statement to the email address located within this notice. The capability statement should clearly explain the contractor's abilities and experience directly related to the capabilities listed in this notice. Please refrain from superfluous discussion. Do not include generic marketing material which does not directly address the specific capabilities enumerated in this notice. Submissions shall not exceed 10 pages in length. A company must identify its business size status, and applicable NAICS code(s) in the capability statement. Recommended NAICS code is 237310, size standard $33.5M. Capability statements are required to be received electronically via email to hilbert.caesar@va.gov. Subject: Northeast CPAC Impact Roadway Modifications, no later than 5/21/2010. Responses received after this deadline or which do not conform to the instructions provided herein will not be reviewed. The LVAMC's point of contact is Hilbert E. Caesar, Contract Specialist, who can be reached via e-mail at hilbert.caesar@va.gov. Any questions regarding this notice shall be directed to Mr. Caesar in writing, via email by 5/14/2010 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Companies responding to this Sources Sought Notification are responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Notification. (Note: LVAMC will not pay any costs associated with this effort). The LVAMC is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. Since this Sources Sought Notification is for information and planning purposes, no evaluation letters or results will be issued to respondents.
