- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command-West, Presidio of Monterey has a requirement for a vendor to provide subscription to the existing C-Map Electronic Charting Navigation Software (7 each), that is compatible with the existing US Army watercraft C41 satellite communication systems and shipboard radar/plotter systems, which is downloadable via INMARSAT. The service must provide regular US Coast Guard Notice to Mariners chart updates for the safe navigation of these vessel. The service shall cover North, Central and the top of South America. The US Army Reserve vessels using this service must have the capability to upgrade (on short notice) to Worldwide coverage if a mission dictates and on a vessel by vessel basis. 0001. C-Map Electronic Charting Subscription 1 year $__________ Proposals are due Wednesday, 12 May 2010 at 3:00 pm (PDT) This acquisition is a unrestricted and all eligible contractors operating under the selected NAICS code can participate. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 511210. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. This combined synopsis/solicitation is the only information you will receive, no separate solicitation or paper copies will be provided.
