- 5/7/2010 Amendment A00001 to Solicitation HSCG80-10-Q-P45GG0 for CGC Washington's Dockside is as follows: To add additional information/clarification to the specification from a potential quoter. There is no extension to the due date for quotes which is May 11, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The following are Bidder's Questions for Solicitation HSCG80-10-Q-P45GG0: Work Item #1 Paragraph 3.3 states "...correct fastener material is stainless steel" but para:3.5 states"... renew any damaged or non-monel nuts with Nickel-Copper alloy(monel)". Does para:3.5 supercede paragraph 3.3? CLARIFICATION for Work Item #1: 3.3 Stay with stainless if possible. If not, then Monel. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Work Item #2 Paragraph 3.3 states "...correct fastener material is stainless steel" but para:3.4 states"... renew any damaged or non-monel nuts with Nickel-Copper alloy(monel)". If not, then Monel. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Work Item #4 Paragraph 1.2: Existing Range will not fit through stairwell or passageway onboard vessel. What are the dimensions of the new GFM Range? CLARIFICATION for Work Item #4: 1.2 Govt. Furnish Property, The range will not be change out. Paragraph 3.3.1: Is exposed deck/tank top surfaces considered a critical coated surface? CLARIFICATION for 3.3.1: Yes the inspection is made within the first 25% of the contract. Paragraph 3.5.1: New deck panels are LLTM. New deck panels will require approximately 5 weeks to fabricate not including shipment to vessel. Is USCG going to change period of performance to allow for LLTM? CLARIFICATION for 3.5.1: As it stand today the Coast Guard cannot change the dates for this contract. END OF QUESTIONS
