- PHYLLIS LAKE & LITTLE CASINO CREEK TRAIL BRIDGE MATERIALS -- SAWTOOTH SNRA IN APPROXIMATELY 1 DAY, THE SOLICITATION FOR THIS COMMERCIAL SUPPLY PROJECT WILL BE AVAILABLE TO VIEW AND PRINT. Little Casino Creek Trail Bridges This project consists of supplying the materials for the construction of two (2) nail-laminated longitudal slab trail bridges to the Sawtooth National Recreation Area. There are two bridges one 24’ foot in length, the second 27’ feet in length and are 4’ wide with 6” curbs on both sides. The contractors shall supply all of the treated timbers for the slab, deck, curbs, tie rods, and the necessary hardware to complete both bridges. The Bill of Materials shown on the fifth page of each drawing package is the best estimate made by the Forest Service; it is the responsibility of the supplier to verify the quantities needed to completely construct the bridges as shown in the drawings. The bridge pieces shall have pre-drilled holes for the tie-rods as shown on the drawings. The drawings show both the curb and railing details; these trail bridges will use the curb only design, as specified on the first sheet of the drawing packages. Disregard the drawings showing the details for the railings. The specifications for materials are shown on drawings and there is a special specification for the treatment of the timbers. Include the cost of shipping the materials in your bids for the bridges.
