Description

RECOVERY - TAS::14 1041::TAS - Katmai National Park and Preserve, Bristol Bay County, King Salmon Alaska, KATM - 89431 - Replace King Salmon Maintenance Building, Construction This announcement is provided for informational purposes only. This project will be solicitated as a Competitive Total Hub Zone set-aside in accordance with FAR 19.1305. NAICS - 236220-Commercial and Institutional Building Construction Estimated Range: $1,500,000 to $2,500,000Estimated period of performance: August 2010 to August 2011 The scope of work (SOW) consists of the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct a new approximately 3200 square foot clear-span pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) to be used as a 4-bay maintenance shop, founded on a concrete stemwall/footing and slab, site utilities and related site work, with a photovoltaic system, and an optional attached storage structure of approximately 800 square foot. All work shall be in compliance with prepared plans/specifications and in compliance with all applicable codes. All required permits, fees, and licenses for this work shall be applied for and paid by the contractor. A qualified contractor will have successful experience completing projects of similar size, scope, value, and complexity, at similar remote Alaska sites. Small Business Size Standards - $33.5 Million
