- The National Park Service, Grand Canyon National Park intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for Total Operation of Outpatient Medical Treatment Facility at the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona. The NAICS is 621498, small business size standard is $10 million annual gross receipts. This procurement will be solicited as Unrestricted-Full and Open. Proposals are sought from all qualified firms. Contractor shall provide total operation of Government-owned medical clinic, providing ongoing primary, urgent, and community health care to Park residents, employees, and visitors. Visits can exceed 6,000 visits per year; historical estimates are included in the solicitation documents. Contractor shall provide at least 90% of the services to meet patient and community needs, accept a broad range of payment forms, provide pharmaceutical services necessary to support clinic operations and the common needs of patients, provide janitorial services to maintain the health clinic, manage medical waste, and related operations. This contract will have a base performance period of twelve (12) months, commencing on 1 September 2010 - 31 August 2011 and will include four (4), one-year option periods to be exercised at the Government's discretion. This is a best value procurement; Various evaluation factors will be used to include overall prices, past performance of similar projects of similar scope and magnitude, and technical capability of the firm. Offerors must be able to demonstrate past experience operating similar clinic and must have current registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications via ORCA.Gov website. A site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at 10 AM at South Rim, Grand Canyon National Park. Interested parties shall meet in the parking lot of the Park Service Headquarters building, South Rim, Grand Canyon National Park. Contractors planning to attend this pre-solicitation meeting shall contact via email robin_martin@nps.gov and deborah_cimmer@nps.gov to ensure access to the Park. No more than three (3) representatives per firm may attend this meeting, due to space availability. To enter the Park for this meeting, enter using the farthest left lane and inform attendant that you have official business at the Headquarters Building. NOTE: RSVP must be done prior to Tuesday, June 8, 2010 to ensure access to the Park for this meeting. Individual tours or meetings will not be conducted nor permitted. Official release of solicitation is anticipated to be on / or about 19 May 2010 with closing date for all offers due 22 June 2010 10 AM PST.
