Description
The Headquarters (HQ) Air Education and Training Command (AETC), HQ AETC/LGCI, Randolph Air Force Base (AFB), TX 78150, hereby formally announces the intent to award a contract, primarily consisting of firm-fixed price (FFP), as full and open. The contractor will be required to furnish Service Provider, Type I Special Training services supporting various Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers for the King Air 350 Aircraft, subsystems, and related support equipment. Training capability must support Mission Support Operator Electro-Optical (MSO EO)) training and aircrew coordination training both in the United States (U.S.) and overseas locations. Requirements may be conducted in multiple foreign locations simultaneously. Training will include academic and OJT/Operational, Type I Maintenance and student support requirements for all specialties including,but not limited to the following: King Air 350 MSO EO Training, MSO EO Familiarization/Differences and aircraft procedures academic station training, provide aircrew coordination training for MSO EO with Pilots, MSO Electronic Warfare (EW) and ground EW crew positions, and may also be responsible for lodging and airport/vehicle transportation for students during CONUS training. The estimated period of performance is 1 Jul 2010 to 30 Jun 2011. CONUS and OCONUS. The proposed contract action is for services which the U.S. Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals; however, all interested persons that identify to the Contracting Officer their intent and capabilities to satisfy the U.S. Government's requirement and are received within 15 days after the date of publication of this notice, will be considered by the U.S. Government. A determination by the U.S. Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the U.S. Government.
