Description
I. PURPOSE: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Northwest Mountain Region, intends to solicit and award a Firm-Fixed price construction contract for the installation of NAVAIDS Facilities on Runway 1 and 19 at the new St. George, Utah Airport. II. SCOPE OF WORK: The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment to perform the project, in accordance with the contract clauses, drawings and specifications. Work under this project consists of, but is not limited to, the following: 1) Localizer Type Directional Aid (LDA) for Runway 19 2) Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) for Runway 19 3) Glide Slope (GS) for Runway 19 4) Medium Intensity Approach Lighting System with Runway Alignment Indicator Lights (MALSR) for Runway 19 5) Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) for Runway 19 and Runway 1 (1 each)6) Runway End Identifier Lights (REIL) for Runway 1 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Anticipated Notice to Proceed date is June 21, 2010. The Localizer Type Directional Aid (LDA) and Glide Slope (GS) must be completed thirty (30) calendar days after date of official notice to proceed. Complete the entire work ready for use not later than ninety (90) calendar days after date of official notice to proceed. SITE VISIT MANDATORY: (a) A one time offered MANDATORY site visit has been scheduled for this project on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 1:00 PM local time. Contractors who would like to attend the site visit must submit an email to Blaise.Ungerman@faa.gov by 2:00 PM (PDT) on May 12, 2010. SET A-SIDE: A tiered evaluation of offers will be utilized in this source selection. NAICS Code: 237130, the Small Business Administration Size Standard for this NAICS Code is $33.5 Million. Magnitude of construction is from $1,000,000 - $1,500,000. All questions concerning this Request for Offer (RFO) are due no later than 4:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) on May 18, 2010. OFFERS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN 4:00 PM (PDT) on Thursday May 27, 2010.
