Description

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), BRR, WRD, WR, has a requirement for three (3) Each, Waterloo Multilevel Systems, Model 401, with necessary accessories and parts. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively IAW FAR 13.106-1(b),(1) to Solinst Canada LTD. as they are the only known provider of the Solinst Multilevel Groundwater Monitoring Systems. The Waterloo System is a semi-permanent groundwater well sampling system that isolates multiple water-bearing zones within a single borehole in such a way that allows installation of monitoring equipment at each zone and access for ongoing sampling of the water from each zone for chemical analysis. Other interested concerns having the ability to furnish these supplies shall submit a capabilities statement to the Contracting Officer no later than the closing date of this announcement. All submissions will be evaluated to determine if competitive opportunities exist. This is NOT an RFQ. This does represent the Government's only written notice of this procurement. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, must be considered by the agency. This notice and any resulting contract or order conforms to the requirements in place through FAC 05-41 (effective 13 APR 2010). All questions regarding this procurement shall be in writing, and addressed to Cheryl Fitch at cfitch@usgs.gov no later than 05/17/2010
