Description
This solicitation is to procure a new clamshell and rip rap grapple buckets for the US Army Corp of Engineers, Tenn-Tom Project Office. The specifications are as follows: Six (6) cubic yard clamshell bucket This bucket shall be a 2 rope general purpose bucket. Cutting edge shall be constructed of abrasion resistant T-1 alloy. Recessed Grease Fitting to prevent damage. Plate and Bar stock may be a combination of T-1 alloy steel as to achieve a minimum yield of 100,000 p.s.i. The proper steel should be selected as to achieve the best strength, abrasive resistance, flexibility and weld ability in particular areas. Over all weight shall be a minimum of 21,000 lbs. Bucket shall be equal to or better than a Anvil GP-600. Five (5) cubic yard rip rap grapple This grapple shall be a 2 rope 6 tine grapple. Tine Liners shall be constructed of abrasion resistant T-1 alloy. Recessed Grease Fittings to prevent damage. Plate and Bar stock may be a combination of T-1 alloy steel as to achieve a minimum yield of 100,000 p.s.i. The proper steel should be selected as to achieve the best strength, abrasive resistance, flexibility and weld ability in particular areas. Over all weight shall be a minimum of 26,000 lbs. Grapple shall be equal to or better than an Anvil RP-500-6 The buckets are to be delivered Monday through Friday to 3600 West Plymouth Road Columbus, Mississippi, 39701, no later than 120 days (ARO) after receipt of order. Shipping terms are FOB Destination. It is anticipated that a fixed Price contract will be awarded. This is an unrestricted procurement and the NAICS is 333120. RECOVERY This contract will be funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. All questions should be sent by email to Geanette Kelley, at geanette.kelley@usace.army.mil.
