- Solicitation Number: AG- 0489-S-10-0511 Notice Type: Presolicitation Synopsis: THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) PROCUREMENT RECOVERY – Bend-Fort Rock Ranger District, Deschutes National Forest, Deschutes County, Oregon. The purpose of this announcement is to make notice that the Forest Service contemplates releasing solicitation number AG-0489-S-10-0511 on or about May 14, 2010, for mechanical thinning and brush treatment services in the Bend-Fort Rock Ranger District, Deschutes National Forest, Oregon. If the solicitation is released, it will be released through this FedBizOpps website, and prospective bidders should visit this FedBizOpps website from time to time on or after May 14, 2010, to obtain a copy of the solicitation; however, the Forest Service reserves the right not to release a solicitation. PROJECT DESCRIPTION. It is the purpose of this solicitation to secure services on the Deschutes National Forest, Bend / Fort Rock Ranger District for mechanical thinning and brush treatment. PARTICIPATION. This acquisition is determined to be 100% set aside for Small Business. The North American Classification System Code (NAICS) is 115310. The size standard is $17.5 Million. The solicitation with specifications and Service Contract Act wage rates will be posted to the FedBizOpps website www.fbo.gov. REGISTRATIONS. In order to receive any contract award, a vendor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).
