- NOTICE: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Flight Standards Service (AFS), Flight Technologies and Procedures Division (AFS-400), Management Operations Branch (AFS-405A) intends to award an extension to the subject contract that expires May 15, 2010. The contract extension period of performance (POP) is May 16, 2010 - September 30, 2010. The Program Office is continuing to pursue a new contract and a Market Survey is being conducted for responsive bidders. This announcement is for informational purposes only, not a request for proposals. No phone calls please. All questions must be submitted in writing and mailed, faxed or emailed to the Contracting Officer.
