- RECOVERY—THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A NOTICE FOR SOLICITATION OF OFFERS. THE ACTION DESCRIBED HEREIN IS A MODIFICATION TO AN EXISTING CONTRACT, DOLJ04UA00008. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR IDENTIFIED BELOW. This opportunity was available only to Dynamic Educational Systems, Inc. under contract number DOLJ04UA00008. The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management on behalf of the Office of Job Corps has awarded a modification in the amount of $61,323 to the Bamberg Job Corps Center, operated by Dynamic Educational Systems, Inc. These funds are provided under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The funding is within the not-to-exceed ceilings for this contract. It would have been impracticable to use a fixed price contract to secure services of the kind or quality required for this modification, since the modification was to an existing Cost-Plus Incentive Fee contract (Cost Reimbursement Contract). The funding is intended to address the following program initiatives: 1) Earth Day Every Day Campaign, and 2) To procure Career Technical Skills Training Welding equipment and Driver’s Education Simulator to support additional career technical training opportunities to the students of Bamberg Job Corps Center. The operator of the Bamberg Job Corps Center will not procure the services through subcontracting opportunities.
