- Description
- This contract consists of conducting statistically sound vegetation sampling by intensification of the Forest Inventory plots. It includes locating, monumenting and photographing the plots then collecting the tree, and downed woody material data according to standard CSE protocols. This project is located on the Caribou-Targhee National Forest within the Westside, Soda Springs, and Montpelier Ranger Districts. The project will collect approximately 512 predetermined GPS plots along a grid of various forested cover types. This is a performance-based contract requiring a contractor’s quality control plan. Solicitation issuance date will be on or about June 1, 2010. Solicitation will be posted electronically. Estimated start work date is 7/12/10 with a completion date of 10/31/11.
