- Z-Contractor to furnish all plant, labor, parts, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision required to complete the following construction project, Replace Built Up Roofs, Bldg. 620, RVKQ 10-0262, to include, but not limited to, the following: (1) Abatement and disposal of asbestos containing materials, but not limited to the flashing at roof edges and at all roof penetrations. (2) Remove and dispose of existing roofing at all roofs as indicated on drawings. (3) Provide new EPDM roof as indicated on drawings. (4) Provide new metal flashing, downspouts and gutters as indicated on drawings. (5) Provide new rigid polyisocyanurate roof insulation as indicated on drawings. (6) Provide new treated wood blocking as indicated on drawings. (7) Provide sod in areas after removal of silt fences at Bldg. 620. Work to be performed at the 914 Airlift Wing, Niagara Falls ARS, Niagara Falls, NY. Performance Time is 120 calendar days. A single Firm Fixed-Price construction contract will be awarded. This solicitation is being set-aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. The NAICS code is 238160, the SIC code is 1761 and the Small Business Size Standard is $14 Million. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. Estimated issue date for solicitation FA6670-10-B-0002 is 28 May 2010 with bid opening 30 days thereafter. The complete solicitation will only be available at http://www.fbo.gov. No hard copies will be provided. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor the website for any changes or updates. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) database at https://www.bpn.gov/ccr and have Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) http://orca.bpn.gov. Failure to register in both databases will render the contractor ineligible for award. Bid, Payment & Performance Bonds will be required.
