- Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune hereby gives a notice of intent to award a sole source requirement to Tyco/Scott Technologies, Inc, 4320 Goldmine RD Monroe, NC 28110, under authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b), 'Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.' Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This requirement is to provide Self contained breathing Apparatus parts. Parts are needed to upgrade existing SCBA's with PASS devices. The anticipated amount is $27,00.00. Interested firms must submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement. Responses are due by 4:00 PM on May 13, 2010 via facsimile to (910) 451-2193 or by regular mail to the Contracting Division, P. O. Box 8368, Camp Lejeune, NC 28547-8368. If submitted via courier, the address is Contracting Division, Bldg 1116, MCB Camp Lejeune, NC 28542.
