Miles Rd., Cleveland, OH 44128-4237, Cage Code 02811 for photosensitive metal plates of various sizes and thicknesses along with photo developing chemicals and supplies in support of the Armys Item Unique Identification (IUID) effort.. The resulting contract type will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Requirements-Type contract with a period of performance of one year. The Statutory Authority permitting Other Than Full and Open Competition for this action is 10 U.S.C. 2340(c)(1) as cited in FAR Part 6.302-1, When there is a supply or service available only from one or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy the agencys needs. This requirement will be negotiated on a Sole Source basis, Solicitation Number W911N2-10-R-0073. Solicitation date: 13 May 13, 2010, Closing date: 24 May 2010. A copy of the solicitation can be downloaded from https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ on 13 May 2010. Interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
