Description
ATTACHMENT 1- PAST PERFORMANCE QUESTIONNAIRE SOLICITATION FA7014-10-R-0033 DESCRIPTION of SERVICES This Performance Work Statement (PWS) provides a comprehensive method for the maintenance and repair of Air Force owned HAPSITE® Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer (GC/MS). The equipment has been fielded as part of both Medical Counter-Chemical Biological, Radiological, Nuclear defense team as part of the BEE Detection Allowance standard 886H and as part of the War Reserve Materiel assemblage Preventive Aerospace Medicine (PAM) Team (Unit Type Code FFGL 2/3/4).The equipment is used by the Bioenvironmental Engineer Disaster team to provide technical support to the installation's survival recovery center and on-scene commander in the event of a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and/or High Yield explosive or Weapon of Mass Destruction incident. The HAPSITE® portable unit is used by the BEE team to identify substances as Contaminates of Concern, Chemical Warfare Agents, Toxic Industrial Chemicals, Toxic Industrial Materials, and to perform health risk assessments in scenarios associated with emergency response, homeland defense, industrial hygiene, and environmental surveillance. The BEE disaster team relies on the serviceability of both pieces of equipment to identify and quantify hazards through environmental monitoring to complete health risk assessments for proper response planning.
