- The US Naval War College, Newport, RI intends to acquire on a competitive basis: booths, tables and seating for the Caf located at the College. The scope of the work required by this contract includes providing, delivering and installing custom upholstered hardwood frames for double and single booths (quantity 8 and 10 respectively), solid maple random width plank tables with bases to go in the booths (quantity 13), wood side chairs with upholstered seats (quantity72), round solid maple random width plank tables with bases (quantity 2), and square solid maple random width plank table with bases (quantity 20). The written solicitation is anticipated to be released on or about May, 20, 2010, and will be posted at www.neco.navy.mil and https://www.fbo.gov. Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring the website for posting of the solicitation and any amendments thereto. The closing date will be established in the RFQ. The Government intends to issue a single award using full and open competition and anticipates award of a firm fixed price type contract by June 30, 2010. The delivery and installation must occur and be completed between 09AUGUST2010-13AUGUST2010. The Government will provide an exact installation date to the contractor with at least a seven (7) calendar day notice. The contractor shall be required to unpack, install as will be specified in the contract and clean up to include removal of all packing/shipping material. The point of contact is Sheila K. Award will be made from the written quotation offering the best value to the Government. The applicable NAICS Code is 337127 and the associated size standard is 500 employees. This acquisition will be a 100% small business set-aside. Vendors must be registered in the CCR database to be considered for award. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at http://www.ccr.gov/. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
