Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Region, has a requirement to furnish and install 15 single-phase, 2-winding, 13.6 kV - 235-kV, 50 MVA, water-cooled power transformers and appurtenances in the Left and Right Power Plants, located at the Grand Coulee Dam, on the Columbia River adjacent to the city of Coulee Dam, Washington. Additional work for this project includes: removal and disposal of existing single-phase 230-kV transformers, modification of cooling water piping and control conduits, modification of existing iso-phase bus, and furnishing and installing anchorage systems for the new transformers. This requirement will be issued as a negotiated request for proposals, and specific evaluation factors for the project will be detailed in the solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 335311, and the small business size standard is 750 employees. An electronic copy of the solicitation will be available APPROXIMATELY June 1, 2010, at www.fedbizopps.gov. Prospective offerors must be registered in CCR prior to the awarding of any contract - see www.ccr.gov. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements.
