- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commerical items prepared in accordance with format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement consitiutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be used. The requirement is to integrate ship's existing Siemens Main Propulsion Drive System in accordance with attached specification during the period 24 May and 5 June 2010. The solicitation number is NAAN7200-0-90603. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-40. This action is for NAICS Code 336611, with a size standard of more than $20Mil total annual revenue. See attached Statement of Work for a description of the work to be performed and items provided. All work is to be completed NLT 05 June 2010, and delivered to the NOAA Ship HENRY BIGELOW, located 155 Water Street, Woods Hole, MA. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this requisition. Award will be made on a Firm Fixed Price basis, to the lowest responsible offeror. All quotes are to be accompanied by a comlpeted copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Comercial Items applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
