- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION Outdoor Equipment Enclosures (I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Submit written quotes on RFQ Number NRMJ2000-10-13453. (III) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-41. (IV) This solicitation is being issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS code is 335999. The small business size standard is 500 employees. (V) This combined solicitation/synopsis is for purchase of the following commercial items: CLIN 0001. Qty 3. Brand Name or Equal to DDB Unlimited Model OD-62DDC Outdoor Equipment Enclosure CLIN 0002. Qty 3. Set of 19" EIA Standard rack rails CLIN 0003. Qty 3. Air Conditioner CLIN 0004. Qty 3. 1/2 INS R3.3 insulation CLIN 0005. Qty 3. 30 Amp load center (VI) Description of requirements is as follows: CLIN 0001. Qty 3. Outdoor Equipment Enclosure, 62"H x 25"W x 34"D, Front and rear doors, 3 point Stainless Steel padlocking system, NEMA 4X class 250, 1 set of 19" EIA Standard rack rails (10-32), painted or powder coated (white or cream), 0.125" Aluminum Construction, all gaskets included, sun shield on top CLIN 0002. Qty 3. Set of 19" EIA Standard rack rails (10-32) for 62"H Enclosure CLIN 0003. Qty 3. Air Conditioner, 2400 BTU, 110V with internal heat, installed. CLIN 0004. Qty 3. 1/2 INS R3.3 insulation or better, installed. CLIN 0005. Qty 3. 30 Amp load center with two 15 AMP breakers, installed with the breakers wired to a 4 Square box and outlets (two outlets/breaker) (VII) Delivery shall be FOB Destination. Required delivery 30 days ARO. Place of delivery is 325 Broadway, Bldg 22, Boulder, CO 80305-3328. (VIII) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items (Jun 2008), applies to this acquisition. In addition to written price quotes, offers are instructed to provide the brand name of an "equal" product, including manufacturer and model number. (IX) Offers will be evaluated solely on price, on an all or none basis. (X) The offeror must submit a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items (Aug 2009), with its quote. (XI) The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items (Mar 2009), applies to this acquisition. (XII) The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items (Apr 2010) applies to this acquisition.
