Description
The purpose of this amendment is to answer the following questions: Q: Is the contractor expected to move all the furniture all at once or in phases? A: The contractor can move the furniture either all at once are in phases as long as they meet the schedule. Q: What parts are needed for installation of workstations? A: The contractor will determine that parts are needed for the installation of workstations at Fort Dix based off of the floor plans and the demolition of the workstations at Fort Monmouth. Q: Have the rooms been previously measured so stations will fit? A: Yes Q: What will happen to the furniture currently at Fort Dix? A: The furniture at Fort Dix will be removed by the Government prior to the installation of furniture from Fort Monmouth. Q: Who will be responsible for electrical disconnect and reconnect? A: The Government will provide the electrical disconnect and reconnect. Q: Are workstations being installed at Fort Dix in the same configuration as Fort Monmouth, if not, who will be purchasing any extra parts? A: No, there are enough materials at Fort Monmouth to configure at least 30 workstations at Fort Dix. Q: What is the difference between priorities one and two? A: Priority one shall be assembled first. Priority two is next. The remaining rooms will be assigned priorities by the Government after priority one and two. Q: Who will compose the layout drawings? A: The floor plans shall be followed for the assembly of the furniture at Fort Dix. Any deviations must be approved by the COR or Contracting Officer. Q: How many offices will be moved from Fort Monmouth? A: Eight offices will be moved. Q: Is there an elevator at Fort Monmouth and Fort Dix? A: Yes. Q: Does the contractor have exclusive assess to the elevator at Fort Monmouth and Fort Dix? A: No, the contractor will have to share the elevator with the other tenets in the building. Elevator down-time is not a reason for delay in schedule. Q: Is there an inventory list for the property at Fort Monmouth? A: No. Q: What happens if there is extra furniture at Fort Dix after installation? A: The furniture will be stored by the Government. Q: Are there chairs being moved from Fort Monmouth? A: Yes, refer to Statement of Work Paragraph 1.2. Q: Is all the existing furniture on the first floor at Fort Monmouth? A: No. The furniture at Fort Monmouth is throughout Building 1208. Q: Is there an existing drawing of the furniture? A: Pictures have been uploaded showing the design of the furniture. Q: Can a prime contractor outside of 60 miles subcontract the effort to a company inside 60 miles? A: It is the anticipation of the Government to award the contract to a contractor that has a location within 60 miles from Fort Dix, NJ. Bidders are reminded that, in accordance with FAR 52.212-2, the Government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following evaluation factors shall be used to evaluate offers: technical, Delivery, price and past performance. Please provide an response to how you will meet these requirements. The anticipated award will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The Quoters must submit quotes on the full quantity identified. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to make no award under this procedure. Please see attached statement of work.
