- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented withadditional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutesthe only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitationwill not be issued. Solicitation number N65236-10-R-0070 is issued as arequest for proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporatedprovisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular2005-26. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price Commercialitem type contract in accordance with the procedures detailed in FAR 13.5. Thisacquisition is being set aside 100% for small businesses. The applicableNAICS code is 334112 with a size standard of 1,000 Employees. Thisacquisition is for Printer Cases and Laptop Cases only. The specifications areas follows: Printer Case: Rotational molded case, "all catch" lid style, olive drab greencolor, stainless steel latches with black finish, custom foam insert forshipping(1) each Konica Minolta Magicolor 5650EN printer with duplexer #4538726attached, airtight construction with pressure relief valve (PRV), approximateexterior dimensions 27.8" long x 26.3" wide x 24.7" high, approximateshipping weight is 40 lbs. Meets Military specifications MIL-STD-810Environmental test methods and engineering guidelines, MIL-STD-2073 DODstandard practice for military packaging, ASTM 4169 & DC18 Test ability ofshipping containers and systems to perform within the distributionenvironment, including elements peculiar to the distribution of government andmilitary equipment and supplies. Laptop Computer Case: Injection molded, hinged lid style, olive drab greencolor, airtight construction with pressure relief valve (PRV), includes customfoam insert, non-antistatic polyethylene foam, for transporting (1) each IBMT43 laptop with 14.1" display, spare hard drive and battery, 8 port switch withpower supply, and a mouse. Approximate exterior dimensions 19.2" long x15.2" wide x 7.3" high, approximate shipping weight is 9 lbs. Meets Militaryspecifications MIL-STD-810 Environmental test methods and engineeringguidelines, MIL-STD-2073 DOD standard practice for military packaging, ASTM4169 & DC18 Test ability of shipping containers and systems to perform withinthe distribution environment, including elements peculiar to the distributionofgovernment and military equipment and supplies.
