- This notice is being prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.203(a). The response date of this announcement is June 1, 2010 at 2pm Alaska local time. The NAISC Classification Code for this requirement is 611310. NOTE: This announcement is not the formal request for quote and does not contain all information pertaining to the requirement. Interested parties wishing to obtain a copy of the solicitation package (70181AQ065) may look on https://www.fbo.gov on or after June 1, 2010. The solicitation line will route to the Interior Department IDEAS-EC website containing all solicitation materials. Overview:The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will be soliciting quotes for Analysis of polar bear and brown bear fat biopsies. This solicitation will include receiving fat samples from the USFWS, performing specified testing and providing the results with an excel spreadsheet of the findings.
