- The U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC), plans to award a sole source, three-year Requirements type Contract for New Equipment Training (NET) classes and Contractor Technical Assistance for the High Mobility Engineer Excavator (HMEE) Type III with Case New Holland. The proposed new contract will be Firm Fixed Price This new contract will include conducting both operator and maintainer training classes, both CONUS and OCONUS. We estimate the following CONUS classes: 20 operators and 100 maintainers; OCONUS classes: 10 operators and 30 maintainers; and an estimated 125 days of Contractor Technical Assistance to allow resolution of unforeseen issues. The Contractor Technical Assistance effort includes the following types of tasks: investigation and diagnosis of problems or issues in the field related to system performance, maintenance, and training. This notice is for the purpose of possible subcontracting opportunities only. Response date: 28 May 2010.
