Description
Wage Determination Statement of Work Solicitation Clauses Solicitation Cover Sheet Amendment 001 Constructing a Enclosed Metal Building and Installing Commercial Roll Up Door on a Concrete Irrigation Well Slab at the East Texas Plant Materials Center The site is located at the East Texas Plant Materials Center located on the Stephen F. Austin Experimental Forest approximately 13 miles southwest of Nacogdoches, Texas. Work will consist of the following items: 1.Constructing a 15’6”x 25’x 8’ enclosed metal building to cover irrigation well. 2.Installation of a commercial grade roll up door at one end of the enclosed metal building. 3.Construction to add two, 12’x25’ lean twos, one on each side of enclosed metal building. 4.Demolition and removal of existing wooden building on existing concrete slab. Performance time for this project will be 21 days and needs to begin in June 2010. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, tools, equipment and material necessary to perform the work. The Contractor shall also provide a Materials and Basic Construction and Demolition Proposal for the enclosed metal building and roll up door and demolition of existing structure. 1.Enclosed Metal Building– Construct an enclosed metal building on a concrete irrigation well slab that is approximately 15’6”x25’x8’. •Building will be anchored to slab by installing concrete anchors into existing slab according to metal building manufacturers recommendations. •All Sides will be enclosed from the roof to the base. •Site will be prepared prior to construction by cleaning off the foundation by sweeping or other approved method. •Enclosed metal building will be erected over and around irrigation well, pressure tanks, and existing plumbing. •Metal roofing, siding, supporting structure, and associated hardware will be of sufficient thickness, quality, and corrosion proof, based on manufacturer’s recommendations. 2. Roll Up Door – Install a commercial grade roll up door at one end of enclosed metal building. •Supply and install commercial grade roll up door according to metal building manufacturers recommendations. •The roll up door will be installed with required, sufficient support, framing, and hardware required for proper operation. •Roll up door will be installed to lock for security measures. 3.Two 12’x25’x6’ lean-tos, one on each side of enclosed metal building. •Lean-tos will be fabricated out of same materials and hardware as the enclosed metal building according to manufacturer’s recommendations. •Eave height is to be no less than 6 foot on the outside edge •Lean-tos will be attached to the enclosed metal building according to manufacturers recommendations •Lean-tos will be anchored with 3 mobile home type anchors on each side •Foundation will be level and existing and will be either gravel or in situ material. •There shall be one roof line covering the lean two additions and center, enclosed metal building. 4.Demolition and Removal of Existing Wooden Building •Removal of existing wooden structure and dispose of all debris and materials such as hardware and insulation. •The building is currently standing over irrigation well, pressure tank and plumbing; which shall be protected during demolition. •Electrical box and controls will need to be left intact and not dismantled. SITE VISIT shall be held at 10:30 a.m., 19 May 2010 at the East Texas Plant Materials Center, 6582 FM 2782, Nacogdoches, TX 75964.
