- J&A for Sole Source purchase Description(s): This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(b). All correspondence shall be written and sent via electronic mail to the contracting officer Mr. Mark DeLaRosa email: mark.delarosa@brooks.af.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon any responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. The Government will not accept telephone inquiries. The point of contact for this announcement is Mr. Mark DeLaRosa, Contracting Officer. It is the offeror's responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-41 (effective 13 May 2010) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement change notice 20100507. FAR 52.212-4 and 52.212-5 applies to this acquisition. WAWF procedures also apply. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. DFARS 252.211-7003 Item Identification and Valuation applies. The delivery date of these items is 45 days after receipt of Order (DARO), FOB Destination, Facility No 20674 2365 Third Street, Module 4, Wright Patterson AFB, OH 45433. The NAICS Code is 334516 the size standard is 500 employees. The type contract anticipated is firm-fixed price. A due date of offers will be 4:00 PM, Central Time, 24 May 2010.
