- Brand Name Justification or Equal - Rinnai Tankless Water Heater President Obama's Federal Energy Efficiency Executive Order (10/5/2009) requires procurement of products that operate with the highest energy efficiency. The Rinnai condensing tankless water heater's Energy Star rating and 97% thermal efficiency satisfies Federal Energy Efficiency Executive Order requirements. Rinnai tankless water heaters have been used exclusively in Yosemite National Park's administrative buildings, public use buildings, and housing units for over seven years. In addition to meeting the Executive Order's requirements, Yosemite National Park is specifying procurement of Rinnai condensing tankless water heaters for the following reasons: Yosemite National Park utilizes Rinnai tankless water heaters exclusively in order to: "enhance serviceability;"minimize service training needs;"reduce required repair part inventory;"performance of Rennai tankless water heaters has been flawless over previous purchased water heaters. NOTICE 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE PERSUANT TO FAR 19.502-2. Project Name: Rennai Water Heaters. The Solicitation Number for this project is Q8823100116. The US Department of the Interior, the National Park Service, Yosemite National Park is soliciting quotes from qualified Small Businesses for a firm-fixed price supply order under the above mentioned project. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 423720, and the small business size standard is 100 employees. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers, in decinding order of importance: (i) Responsiveness to solicitation's requirements, ii) Past Performance, (iii) Price. The Solicitation and attachments will be posted electronically on or about June 2, 2010 at the following website: www.fedbizopps.gov. (See FEDBIZOPPS SEARCH, below). Any Amendments to the Solicitation will also be posted to this website. Responses will be due approximately 10 days following the date of posting of the solicitation unless extended.
