- Description
- RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER(S): Easky Construction, LLC., W912BV-09-C-1006 As part of Operations and Maintenance, Army, Recovery Act, modification is a credit of -$19,378.43 and has been issued to Easky Construction, LLC., to perform the following work: Changes described in paragraph 3 and 4 below were proposed in writing by the Contractor at the pre-construction conference on 17 July 09. All the changes were reviewed and agreed to by the Designer, On-Site QA, and Texoma personnel. The other changes were identified during construction. These changes will provide a better product and would be a better use of funds. Changes are as follows: 1. The lump sum price for clearing at Juniper Point East line item No. 1 is reduced from $25,000 to $21,000, a reduction in price of $4,000. 2. The fill material, line item no. 2 at Juniper Point East is reduced from 500 cy to 250 cy, a reduction of 250 cy. This 250 cy will be move to line item no. 36 at East Burns Run where additional fill is needed. 3. The road base repair, line item 10, at Juniper Point East is reduced from 2,600 sy to 388 sy and these funds will be used for base stabilization, sand seal, and dura-patching at campsite road and main road. This is needed to stabilize the base before double bit surface treatment. 4. The road base repair, line item 25, at Waurika Lake is reduced from 2,160 sy to 90 sy and these funds will be used for base stabilization, double bit surface treatment, and asphalt conditioner. 5. Fill material, line item 36, at East Burns Run is increase fromm 500 cy to 1,500 cy. This was needed to raise the areas around campsites alone the lakeside. 6. Provide approximately 267 tons of 18 inch riprap and filter cloth for shoreline protection at East Burns Run. 7. The pricing is reduced for the transformers at East Burns Run,(bid items 31, 32, and 33), because the local utility company will furnish and install at no cost to the Contractor. The new pricing is for the panels which is a part of the cost of the bid items. 8. Delete campsite 37 at East Burns Run and change campsite 38 to a pull through. This was needed because the existing layout was too close to the water's edge. This would eliminate one 50-amp electric pedestal, one water hydrant and one concrete 6-inch slab with 6-inches of base material. The pull through campsite will increase the asphalt concrete with 6-inches of base material by 65 SY.
