- Description
- This amendment provides answers to questions submitted by prospective offerors: 1. What are the projected number of staff months for this project? ARI doesnt calculate staff months, but the Contractor Manpower Equivalent is approximately.95. 2. Just to clarify, the Influence and Negotiation Training is an in-class course, correct? As opposed to computer-based, mobile, or distributed training. Yes, classroom based, instructor led would be preferred. However, elegant and wise use of computer-based simulations, etc, would not be out of order, keeping in mind a limited budget and lessening of returns on 'bang for buck' sometimes involved in the use of technology. 3. What do you have in mind for delivering the train-the-trainer feedback system? Can this be a computer-based or a combo of computer and paper-based (i.e., to take out to the field exercises) The deliverable would most likely be a checklist or other tool for the Trainer/Mentor and Soldier to go through together after a Leader Engagement (practice negotiation) with a role-player. The assumption is that there would be some training for the T/Ms on the use of the underlying negotiations framework, language, etc. 4. How much time delay do you think is feasible between test and evaluation of training/debriefing effectiveness? i.e.,considering JRTC exercise schedules within the constraints of 18 months. This will be up to the contractors to work quickly and efficiently in order to have their deliverables ready by the 18 month time limit.
