Description
Solicitation Amendment #2 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Procurement and Grants Office (PGO), International Branch, intends to competitively solicit for the acquisition of Blood Safety Technical Assistance Services to be provided in up to 37 foreign countries in support of the U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). The Request For Proposal (RFP) number is 2010-N-11995. The RFP was released on April 28, 2010. The RFP was issued in electronic format only and the due date has been changed by solicitation amendment #2 (see attachments). Blood safety technical assistance services to be provided by the contractor are in the areas of: Policy and Guideline Development and Governance; Infrastructure and Capacity Building; Blood Collection; Testing and Production of Blood and Blood Products; Transfusion and Utilization; Monitoring and Evaluation; Training; Sustainability; and Quality Control/Assurance and Management in countries and regions supported by the PEPFAR program. The government intends to award multiple Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) task order contracts. Each contract period of performance will be for 5 years. The task order periods of performance will vary depending upon the need. The program budget for this project is $100 million. There will be no site visits. This is a pre-solicitation notice and does not obligate the government to award a contract. In order to be eligible to receive an award resulting from the proposal evaluation, the contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database - NO EXCEPTIONS To register you may call 1-888-227-2423 or apply via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Contractors must also complete the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) in the database at http://www.bpn,gov/orca.
