- This requirement will be solicited as a Hub Zone set-aside with the awarded being made as a firm-fixed price contract. The North American Industry Classification for this project is 236210 with a size standard of $33.5 million. The project magnitude for this requirement is between $500,000 and $1,000,000 and is located at Nellis Air Force Base, Range 63C. Contractor shall furnish all labor, supplies, materials, transportation, equipment, tools and supervision to perform all work necessary to design and construct a 3,000 sq/ft, clear span, rigid frame, pre-engineered building (PEB) with reinforced concrete foundation and floor slab. Work performed includes, but not limited to, site preparation and paving, installation of electrical, lighting, HVAC, plumbing, communication, fire protection and mass notification systems. The facility shall consist of two (2) classrooms, each with the capacity to accommodate 30 students with a vinyl covered accordion folding partition between the classrooms that can be opened to accommodate larger class sizes; an administrative office for 8 instructors; a common area; restroom facilities; a kitchenette; a storage room for pilferable items; a communications room; a mechanical room and flammable storage room. The total estimated period of performance for this contract is 335 calendar days. All firms responding to the solicitation must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration and have an active Online Representation and Certification Application. Information regarding these processes can be found at http://www.ccr.gov and https://orca.bpn.gov. Additionally, interested firms must have a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code. All responsive and responsible offers will be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be made available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website on or about 11 June 2010. The anticipated due date for proposals will be 30 calendar days after solicitation is posted on FedBizOpps. Paper copies will not be available. Once posted it is incumbent upon all interested firms to review the FedBizOpps website frequently for any updates and amendments.
