Description

THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) ACTION. This contract is a Grassland Restoration Treatments Project in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, Alpine and Springerville Ranger Districts. The purpose of this contract is to reduce fire and fuel hazards through the restoration of open grasslands by removing juniper and piñon on 580 acres. The work includes the furnishing of all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, lodging, supplies (except those designated as Government furnished), and incidentals to perform all work required under the terms and conditions of the resulting contract within the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, Alpine and Springerville Ranger Districts. Funds from the 2010 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) will be utilized for this project. This acquisition was advertised on an unrestricted basis. The award was given to the concern, (1) whose bid was technically acceptable and (2) whose technical/cost relationship was the most advantageous to the Government. This project is located at 165 S Mountain Ave. Springerville, Arizona 85938. The Government awarded a firm-fixed price contract. THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) ACTION.
