Description
This DRAFT RFP is issued by the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), with the intent to acquire information technology and telecommunications services in the following areas: program management and strategy planning, systems/software engineering, enterprise network, cyber security, operation and maintenance and IT facility support. This requirement will result in a five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order (MATO) contract. Individual Task Orders shall be issued on a best value, performance-based Time-and-Materials (T&M), Cost Reimbursement (CR), and/or Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) basis. The Government intends to award up to 15 prime contracts. The estimated maximum dollar value over the life of this program is $12,000,000,000.00. The estimated minimum quantity is $50,000. Draft RFP documents are subject to amendment as necessary. A formal solicitation is expected on or about June 11th, 2010. For planning purposes, the Government requests that potential offerors who intend to submit prime proposals in response to the T4 solicitation notify the Government as such. Any statement submitted by potential offerors will be treated on a non-attribution basis and considered source selection sensitive. In response to the DRAFT RFP issued, the Government will accept questions and comments until 5pm EST, June 7th, 2010. Questions and comments can be sent to t4industryday@va.gov. The subject line should clearly read: "Question in response to DRAFT T4 RFP". In addition, this posting tentatively announces a pre-solicitation conference scheduled to be held June 8th, 2010. The Government will provide details including location and registration information to follow.
