Description
PRON: AX0F5148AX, The Government proposes to acquire on a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract a minimum quantity of 750 up to 2750 maximum, of a Connecting Link, Rig, NSN: 3040-01-352-1531, P/N: 7-311411155-11, applicable to BJ AH-64 APACHE with delivery to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5002. Required delivery with First Article Testing is 50 each, 420 Days After Contract Award (DACA) and 50 each per month thereafter until contract completion. Required delivery without First Article Testing is 50 each, 280 Days After Contract Award and 50 each per month thereafter until contract completion. This item is restricted to THE BOEING COMPANY, Cage Code 8V613, SPX CORPORATION, Cage Code 82001, and WESTERN METHODS MACHINERY CORP, Cage Code 5H108. This is a critical safety part. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation however; the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. No telephone request will be accepted. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. THIS ACQUISITION CONTAINS TECHNICAL DATA WHOSE EXPORT IS RESTRICTED BY THE ARMS EXPORT CONTROL ACT (TITLE 22, U.S.C., SEC 2751 ET SEQ) OR EXECUTIVE ORDER 12470. THE EXPORT ADMINISTRATION ACT (TITLE 50, U.S.C., APP 2401-2402) EXECUTIVE ORDER 12470. THIS INFORMATION CANNOT BE RELEASED OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL OF THE GOVERNMENT.
