NASA/JSC is seeking capabilities from small businesses, small disadvantagedbusinesses, women-owned small businesses, Historically Underutilized Businesses Zones(HUBZones), veteran-owned small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned smallbusinesses, and Historically Black Colleges and Universities/Minority Institutions(HBCUs/MIs) for the purpose of determining the appropriate level of small businesssubcontracting goals for support services in support of the WB-57F Accent VideoExperiment (WAVE) Sensor Support program. The WB-57 is a mid-wing, long-range aircraft capable of operation for extended periods oftime from sea level to altitudes well in excess of 60,000 feet. Though developed forSpace Shuttle launch imagery, the uses of the WAVE/AIRS system are many and varied, including serving as a development testbed for new technologies such as ultra low lightimagery, hyper-spectral imagery, and gimbaled microwave atmospheric sensors. The WAVEAirborne Imaging and Recording System (AIRS) functionality is limited only by thephysical limitations of size, weight and power imposed by its integration to the WB-57aircraft. The systems capabilities include high definition image tracking in flight andGPS tracking.Responses must include the following: name and address of firm, size of business;average annual revenue for past 3 years and number of employees; ownership; whether theyare large, small, small disadvantaged, 8(a), HUBZone, and/or woman-owned; number of yearsin business; affiliate information; parent company, joint venture partners, potentialteaming partners, prime contractor (if potential sub) or subcontractors (if potentialprime); list of customers covering the past five years(highlight relevant work performed, contract numbers, contract type, dollar value of each procurement; and point of contact -address and phone number).
