Summary of Project Scope: The intention of this design-build solicitation is to obtain all services, labor, materials, and equipment and supervision necessary to install and test new electronic Watt-hour meters at Travis Air Force Base, Fairfield, California. The project includes a base bid. The work is located on multiple facilities at Travis Air Force Base, Fairfield, California. There are a total of 65 meters in 58 buildings. A table listing the project locations can be found in Part 6, Appendix A of the RFP. The duration of the project is 360 calendar days inclusive of 15 calendar days for submission of performance and payment bonds from date of award. Projected issue date of the Request for Proposal to MACC Contractors: Approximately May 21, 2010.
