Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation Sub Part 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number AG-82A7-S-10-0069 is issued as a request for quotations. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation. This solicitation is issued as a 100 percent small business set-aside; the NAICS Code is 561710; the NAICS size standard is $7M. The WO AQM Job Corps Support Branch intends to issue a firm fixed priced contract for one base year and four option years for pest control services IAW the below statement of work: STATEMENT OF WORK: The purpose of this statement is to establish a contract for pest control service on the Centennial Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center 3201 Ridgecrest Drive, Nampa, Idaho 83687, facilities and grounds. Pest control shall be performed twice monthly, in the first and third week of each month. Scope of work to be performed: Inspect all areas in and around buildings Maintain pest monitoring and trapping equipment Make appropriate use of chemical methods Prepare written reports to detail pest activity found and make recommendations to limit sanitation and structural conditions and or deficiencies that create an environment in or around buildings which is likely to support pest activity. Record pesticide usage Maintain pest activity tracking logs Provide MSDS on all chemical used Specifications: Provide the most appropriate pest management techniques as needed to approximately 600,000 sq ft of facility grounds; and approximately 145,000 sq ft of twelve buildings on the facility; in order to maintain control of rats, mice, voles, gophers, roaches, seasonal crawling and flying insects, assist with fly control and stored product pest control. Perform interior spraying of buildings CM, and CW, Dormitories twice a year, once in April and once in September as part of the service. Exterior spraying of the facilities buildings will be performed twice a year, once in April and once in September, weather permitting. Perform exterior spraying of the facilities buildings twice a year, once in April and once in September, weather permitting. Replace fly lights in building B shall be done on a yearly basis In the event that scheduled spraying and treatment (either interior or exterior) does not effectively deal with any above mentioned pest the contractor will be required to take further action to mitigate the pest at no additional cost to the government.
