- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Omaha, NE, VISN 23, is planning a sole source procurement with US Bioservices, 16750 Westgrove Drive, Suite 100, Addison, TX for Carticel ® cell growth services. This service is for the pickup, growth and re-delivery of laboratory grown cells to the VA Medical Center, Omaha campus, for a specific patient. This service is being specifically requested to facilitate in the surgery of a pre-identified patient at the VA Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 446110 with a standard size of $7.0 million. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 5 calendar days after publication of this synopsis. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature, detailing how their products/services meet VA requirements, to the Contracting Officer or by fax 402-449-0612. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
