- On or about June 11, 2010, the National Park Service will be issuing a Request for Quote, #Q4340100607, The purpose of this project is to fabricate and reinstall Split-Rail fencing at Home Farm of Hampton NHS. To restore approximately 2000 linear feet of Four-Rail to the cultural landscape to its nineteenth century appearance. The fencing is a contributing feature of the park nationally significant cultural landscape and is listed on the list of classified structures. Hampton National Historic Site Home Farm, 535 Hampton Lane, Towson, MD 21286 This solicitation will be issued electronically (paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available) on the Department of Interior's National Business Center (NBC) website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov and the Federal Business Opportunity website, https://www.fbo.gov/. Solicitation documents will be available in Microsoft Word, HTML, TIFF and Adobe PDF formats. Contractors wishing to receive electronic notification of changes will need to register to receive notification of this specific solicitation at http//ideasec.nbc.gov. This service is provided for convenience only and does not serve as a guarantee of notification. Plan holders will be required to visit this website periodically to check for amendments and other changes to the contract documents. No other notification will be sent.Scope of work: The purpose of this project is to fabricate and reinstall fencing at Home Farm of Hampton NHS to restore the cultural landscape to its nineteenth century appearance. The fencing is a contributing feature of the park nationally significant cultural landscape and is listed on the list of classified structures. The NAICS code and size standard for this procurement are 238990 and 500 employees. The estimated time for completion is 180 calendar days from the date of award. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded to the Contractor submitting the lowest price technically acceptable quote. Additional information may be obtained by submitting a request in writing to Kever L. Swafford. To receive consideration, Contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration and have completed the Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA). Contractor must provide Dun and Bradstreet number with quote. This procurement is set aside for Small Business in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 19.502-2. All questions must be in writing and may be submitted to Gettysburg National Military Park, Administration- Kever L. Swafford, 1000 Biglerville Road, Gettysburg, PA, 17325 or emailed to kever_swafford@contractor.nps.gov.Telephone requests will not be accepted. Requests being sent via mail must contain a verifiable return address or they will not be opened.
