- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER THE AIR ROUTE TRAFFIC CONTROL CENTER CRITICAL/ESSENTIAL POWER SYSTEM. This announcement is NOT A SCREENING INFORMATION REQUEST (SIR) or a REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Further, the FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals.Background:The FAA will procure and install one (1) additional ACEPS (Air Route Traffic Control Center Critical/Essential Power System) Battery Replacements supporting an ACEPS facility at the Minneapolis Air Route Traffic Control Center. The battery will support Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS)/ Uninterruptible Power Modules (UPM).Award:The FAA will modify contract DTFAWA-09-D-00023 with MaeTec Power, Inc. in the amount of $111,850 to procure and install one (1) additional ACEPS (Air Route Traffic Control Center Critical/Essential Power System) Battery Replacement supporting an ACEPS facility at the Minneapolis Air Route Traffic Control Center.
