Office of Acquisition Management (OAM) intends to award a firm-fixed contract award under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15. The objective of this procurement is to obtain reliable, efficient, and effective medical support services. There are 40 attachments with this solicitation as outlined in Section J of the solicitation. With the submission of a proposal package as outlined in Section L please remember to complete these documents within the solicitation packet ( Page 1 of the SF 33, B.2 "Price/Cost Schedule", I.21 "Key Personnel or Facilities", and Section K "Representations, Certifications and Other Statements of Offerors"). ** L.8 "Site Visit " - review specific guidelines and instructions for participating in the scheduled site visit of June 8, 2010. The exact time of the visit is To Be Determined; however, the tour duration will be approximately two hours. A vendor response with all applicable information must be received No Later Than (NLT) May 28, 2010, 1:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. There will be no more than 2 attendees from a single vendor allowed access to the site visit. The instructions are provided below: A site visit is scheduled for June 8, 2010 (Central Time - Exact hour TBD), Center for Domestic Preparedness, 61 Responder Drive, Building 61, Room 2001, Ft. McClellan, Anniston, AL 36205. If you plan to attend, it is required that you fax your company name and the names of all persons who will attend the site visit. The full name, social security number, date of birth, and Driver's License (issuing state and number) must be provided for all site visit attendees. No more than two attendees from a single vendor will be allowed access to the site visit. The site visit is anticipated to take approximately two hours. This information is to be e-mailed or faxed to the contract specialist, Carolyn.Keeseman@dhs.gov or fax: 301-447-1092 No Later Than (NLT) 1:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time) May 28, 2010 - NO REQUESTS VIA EMAIL WILL BE PROCESSED. All site visit information must be submitted no later than May 28, 2010 1:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time). There will be no exceptions to this deadline. An e-mail will be sent to each vendor with approved participants on June 1, 2010. NOTE: Only one site visit will be conducted. ( No questions will be entertained during the site visit.) Any questions shall be emailed or faxed to the address/fax number shown above with the solicitation number referenced. No other site visit will be provided This is a full and open competitive action restricted to eligible 8(a) Small Business concerns using FAR 15 procedures. A firm-fixed price award is anticipated. Award will be based on best value using trade-offs. The Period of Performance will be 1-month transition followed by 11 months of services for the base period. The contract will include four 12-month options. The contract start date is anticipated to be August 1, 2010. NAICS code is 621999. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS is $10.0 million.
