Description

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency is seeking firms with the capability to conduct a broad spectrum of specialized research, development, and tests in weapon effects including cratering, groundshock, dust, thermal and airblast effects, and structural response. DTRA requires the capability to use specialized test items consisting of shock tubes, static and dynamic testing devices, machining equipment, photography equipment, instrumentation equipment, a variety of heavy construction equipment, apparatus for performing high explosive and high explosive simulation tests. High explosive simulation designs and assembly may also be used during the contract. DTRA requires the DTRA Kirtland Air Force Base explosive storage bunker area to be sustained within appropriate guidelines.
