- (Subject Continued) Projects #22964, #24649, and #35205 RECOVERY ACT PROJECT # 22964 Line Item # - 1 * Demolish existing underground wiring to chiller #3 condensor water and chilled water pumps. Install new overhead wiring to pumps. Line Item # - 4 * Replace chilled water and condenser water bypass valves with like rated valves. The cooling tower bypass valve shall be a 3-way, non-spring return actuated valve. The chilled water valve shall be a 2-way, spring return actuated valve. Integrate valves into the chiller and cooling tower control circuit. Insulate the valves with removable covers that shall be Energy-Wrap, as fabricated by Thermal Energy Products, Inc. (www.tepinc.com) or equal. Thermal Energy Product specification: EW-1.5M.NM.FH.SC.LA Line Item # - 5 * Demo existing chiller #3 starter. Install new overhead feeds to the chiller per VFD and Carrier recommendations. RECOVERY ACT PROJECT # 24649 Line Item # - 2 * Install safety circuits to lock out cooling tower variable frequency drives (VFD) when roof-mounted service disconnects switches are turned off. Safety circuits to be installed for cooling towers CT-2, CT-3, CT-4, CT-6 & CT-7 at building 106 and the cooling tower at building 500. Line Item # 6 * Provide and install new cooling tower fans on cooling tower CT-3 (two fans total), and cooling towers CT-6 and CT-7 (two fans each four total for CT-6 and CT-7). Remove and dispose of old fans. RECOVERY ACT PROJECT # 35205 Line Item # - 3 * Relocate the VFDs for cooling towers CT-2 and CT-4 from the building 106 roof to the building 106 electrical vault.
