Description
This solicitation SPM4A7-10-R-0927; PR# IQC10077009041; NSN 1650-01-262-1238, P/N M8815-6-12. This solicitation will contain 1 NSN for Filter Element, Fluid. This solicitation will be solicited Unrestricted, on a Full and Open competition after exclusion basis for award of an indefinite quantity contract (IQC). Item is Critical, Configuration controlled and QPL applies. QPL was updated 25 January 2010 (QPL-8815-36). Item is not commercial. Item is an Air Force designated critical safety item (CSI). The award will be for a base year and four option years with a minimum quantity of 151 each and a maximum quantity of 403 each. The Maximum estimated value is $254,585.50 for an IQC including four option years. There are two approved sources of supply: PTI Technologies Inc, CAGE 05228 and Pall Aeropower Corporation, Cage 18350. The required delivery schedule is 144 DARO. Delivery: FOB: Destination; Inspection/ /Acceptance: Origin. An IQC strategy was appropriate due to stable quarterly demands, where a recurring need was anticipated. This type of contract will provide greater flexibility in the event the awardee’s maximum production capacity is exceeded by our demands and another approved source of supply is available to meet our needs. The only Government obligation is the guaranteed minimum quantity and, after obligation, the Government may pursue another contractual arrangement with another approved source. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The solicitation issue date is on or about 14 June 2010. End Item: B-52; EA-6B, F-18E Aircraft A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Procurement Gateway at http://progate.daps.dla.mil on the issue date cited in the RFP.
