- RECOVERY (ARRA) Pre-Solicitation Notice: Bid Package No. 2 Richard Bolling Federal Building 601 East 12 th Street Kansas City, MO (IMO10450) RECOVERY ACT PROCUREMENT. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. This project is funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act 2009. This opportunity is available only to J.E. Dunn Construction, 1001 Locust, Kansas City, MO 64106. The Federal Service Code is Z111. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 236220 and the size standard is $33.5 Million. The estimated range of this project will be between $75,000,000 and $115,000,000. Bid Package Two (2) includes, but is not limited to the following: general demolition, and asbestos and lead paint abatement; reconfiguration of existing shaft openings; seismic bracing of perimeter shaft walls; complete renovation of lobbies and restrooms including reconfiguration of restrooms; wood paneling, terrazzo, drywall partitions, paint and plaster, new ceramic tile walls and floors; new ceilings, doors, frames and hardware, resilient tile, carpet and rubber base, casework, new panel boards, tenant power distribution and data drops; computer rooms; lighting and above ceiling HVAC throughout the floor; electrical lighting and power distribution; stairway egress improvements; new building signage/graphics; and building automation system work. Work to be performed will consist of shell improvements on 17 th floor, 4 th floor, 3 rd floor, 2 nd floor, 1 st floor, Ground Floor, and Basement. Exterior work includes security bollards, landscape, irrigation, site utilities and site retaining walls. The building will be occupied during construction.
